Produced in the city of Modena with the finest local grapes, this Balsamic Vinegar is obtained only from cooked grape must aged in small barrels of different woods (oak, chestnut, cherry, juniper, ash, acacia, mulberry), to acquire their most complex aromatic and gustative notes.
Available in two aging grades: “AFFINATO”, minimum 12 years, and “EXTRAVECCHIO”, minimum 25 years, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO is able to enrich a wide variety of dishes. It is perfect for enhancing the flavour of salads, cheeses, meats, vegetables and even desserts. Its dense and syrupy texture adds a note of elegance to every preparation.
